    Nebraskan Wedding

This weekend we went to a wedding in Nebraska for Anna's cousin and enjoyed a car ride with Anna's parents and time with Anna's family.  It was a great time.   Here's a picture of the cross on the...

  • Bite the Dog that Bit Ya.

If we shrink away from possible pain and misfortune would we ever do anything? If we get injurred or almost die in a car accident, do we never drive again, or never drive near that area again? Life is too short, why shrink back and live in fear? Instead battle forth in valiance and bravery to address our fears, beating them into submission, facing them head-on with God leading the charge. Can you imagine never again climbing a mountain - never again experiencing the vast beauty and breathtaking scenery of a mountain...

  • California Day 2

Today was a hectic but a fantastic day. I woke up with the sunrise and ran out to the beach to snap some pictures.     Today is also Sylvia Law's birthday, even though she's back home in Iowa, here's a shout-out to her.   HAPPY BIRTHDAY SYLVIA   We met in the morning for breakfast then followed with time of worship and then Doug Shiplett shared about the work that is going on currently in Cambodia and Laos. We were then given a paper that Mike Sanchez had written about the centrality of the church and everyone...

  • Maybe it was a Special Coke.

Airports. You pay a couple hundred dollars for a quick ride across the country and they think that gives them the right to then take advantage of you and rip you off. I’m currently aboard a flight from Chicago to San Francisco and in the midst of the grand excitement that is flying aboard an aircraft, examined my empty 20oz. bottle of Coca Cola to see the price tag mocking me like a little boy who just beat me in a board game. I was hungry and in a hurried run across the Chicago O’Hare airport and decided that food...
