a well lived bland life
I downloaded a new iPhone app called HDR Fusion which takes nice HDR photos. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. To take an HDR photo you need to take multiple photos of the same scene at varying exposures; low exposures will pick up the colors of bright areas and higher exposures will pick up the darker areas. Lastly you need to merge the images together using only the desired sections of the photo. Doing all o this by hand can be a pain, an while the iPhone 4 comes with an HDR feature, the photos don't have the same dynamic range as this app allows you to capture.
Here are several photos I took this afternoon near my parents house.
