a well lived bland life
It has been awhile since we've written. Life has been busy, but then again when hasn't it? The day after returning home from our cruise we were visited by the plumbing fairy who delivered tens of gallons of water to our basement. We spent a couple hours cleaning and vacuuming up the resulting mess, only to have the problem return not once but thrice. It became a little game we liked to call "What is going to be covered in sewage today?" After much thought and prayer we've decided to move at the end of our lease. Since then we've been apartment searching and looking at rentals around town and we believe we may be close to signing a lease. Two weeks after the cruise we set out for trip number two of the year, Colorado. What year would be complete without a trip to Colorado? We went to Leadville with Anna's family and enjoyed a week of skiing, deep snow, cabin-life, and mountains. After all this travelling one would think we would be settling down for a couple of months. One would be wrong. In April Anna and I will be in Chicago one week then San Jose another for training for my work. We are feeling blessed to get to see so many different places together and have phrased 2008 as the "year of travel".
