    Daddy-Daughter Evening

This evening Nora and I had some Daddy-Daughter time while Anna was getting a massage, so we went for a stroll around the neighborhood and played with her blue car and bike helmet.  Nora has a love-hate relationship with her helmet.  She loves to touch it and investigate it which leads to her wanting it on her head.  But, after a few minutes of wearing it she desperately needs it off her head and wants nothing to do with the helmet.  Tonight she was wearing the helmet for longer than usual and seemed to be enjoying it.  She was walking around holding her head and acting like her head was a little too heavy and also driving her blue car with the helmet on.  I took a chance and led her inside so I could grab the camera and by the time we returned outside, this is where we found ourselves:

Needless to say, the helmet came off.  However, I was able to capture a few shots of her in a happier mood, only sans helmet.

I also caught her peeking at Mama when she returned home.

Overall we had a good evening, not including when I realized I purchased the wrong sized base boards.  This base boards project just won't end.

Massage = great. Daddy-daughter time = great. Nora = silly faces. Baseboards = never-ending project

Funny addition to the story: the 'lens-cap-looking-thing' that Nora is holding in one of photos is actually the cap to the PSI meter on the air compressor I was borrowing from a friend. The other day it shot off the compressor and landed across the garage, further impeding the base-boards project.
