California Day 1
Today was a great day. Woke up without an alarm for the first time in months. We then headed for breakfast. We ate breakfast at Aldo's which is right on the harbor in Santa Cruz.
Breakfast at Aldo's on the harbor, Santa Cruz, CANext a couple of us stopped a kinkos to copy some stuff off so Caleb and I went next door to a small coffee (Firefly Coffee House) and discussed life and life-related issues.
Firefly Coffee House, Santa Cruz, CAAfter a couple hours we headed to the warf and admired the beauty of the ocean, sea lions, sea gulls, pigeons, and fried foods.
Zach and Melissa doing the "cheesy looking at the ocean pose"We then walked around a down-town area and ate more food and visited a really interesting skate board apparel and equipment store and a popular surf shop.
Inside the surf shopLastly we headed back to Pararo Dunes resort and enjoyed walking along the beach, spotted a couple dead sea lions washed up on the beach, and enjoyed a romantic - yet lonely - sunset.
Beautiful SunsetWe ended the night with a large group dinner and a dicussion with the people from the Crossings church from San Jose.
